Description
Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Environmental Services Technician on a per diem basis. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will use germicidal detergents and cleaning supplies to sanitize patient care areas, equipment, and common spaces, ensuring compliance with health department standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect assigned areas including walls, floors, furniture, equipment, and restrooms.
Handle routine, repetitive tasks with attention to detail and safety for patients and coworkers.
Work under supervision, performing tasks quietly and efficiently.
Rotate between multiple healthcare facilities as needed.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Housekeeping experience preferred; hospital-based experience is a plus.
Requirements and Skills
Ability to learn and follow established policies and procedures.
Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
Capability to operate common cleaning tools and equipment.
Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, carrying, standing, walking, and bending.
