PRIMARY FUNCTION

Assemble details, sub-assemblies and final assemblies according to instructions. Load and unload contacts, solder shims or paste, and conductors on carbon assembly boats for furnace brazing. Load and unload carbon assembly boats on belt furnace for brazing.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

Hand tools, bench and power tools, riveter, spinner, air press, squeezer, drill press, tappers, tape machine, wax pot, electrical and mechanical test equipment, paper cutter, automatic and semi-automatic equipment for calibrating, drilling, tapping, brazing, stacking, etc. Carbon or ceramic assembly boats, solder cutters or dispensers, soldering gun.

MATERIAL

Detail parts, nameplates, cartons, tape, insulation material, wire, epoxy, oil, glue, hardware, molded cases and covers, packing material, labels, solder, carbon graphite, ceramic, silver tungsten contacts, copper conductors, solder shims and/or paste.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• They must be 18 years old
• They will not be entitled to overtime
• They will not be entitled to bid on positions
Must be able to lift up to and including forty (40) pounds.
Must be able to work the hours outlined in the Labor Agreement.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
