    Job Description

    SummaryThe Asset Protection Specialist safeguards the boutique's employees, customers, premises, and merchandise by enforcing company policy and maintaining physical security. This role conducts audits and inspections, manages incident reporting, and partners with store and regional AP leadership to reduce loss. The specialist also oversees outsourced guards and supervises off-site sales when required.ResponsibilitiesEnforce Asset Protection policies and control access for associates and visitors.Conduct routine facility inspections, safety checks, key audits, and review of safe logs.Complete required audits and document results; maintain AP-related records.Investigate and report violations and incidents; interact with local law enforcement as needed.Monitor daily sales reports (cegid) for negatives, voids, returns and review with APM.Manage outsourced security guards and supervise public and employee off‑site sales.Deliver AP awareness training and coordinate monthly touch‑bases with APM and APAs.Partner with floor management in the absence of the APM.Requirements1-3 years of asset protection or retail experience preferred.High school diploma or equivalent.Relevant security training/certificates (e.g., 8 hr pre‑assignment, 16 hr OTJ); Security License required in NYC only.Strong written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and handle merchandise, and operate required equipment.Adaptability, credibility, service orientation, and results‑driven mindset.#J-18808-Ljbffr
