Assistant Coaching - Spring SportsWest HighSchool & Dakota Meadows Middle SchoolPositions are available for Spring Sport Coaches with Mankato West Athletics beginning March 2026. These positions are for approximately 2 hours per day/5 days per week (after school).
Spring sports:- Cross Country - Boys
- Cross Country - Girls
- Football
- Soccer - Boys
- Soccer - Girls
- Swim/Dive - Girls
- Tennis - Girls
- Volleyball - Girls
Summary of Duties:- Prepare successful practice and performance plans while encouraging student participation, establishing team rapport, and motivating participants to achieve maximum potential.
- Be an example of sportsmanship
- Maintain equipment and inventory of all equipment, including uniforms.
- Supervise all areas of participation, including but not limited to: gyms, fields, locker rooms, buses, pools, etc.
- Work collaboratively with other coaching staff, Activities Director, families, and community resources.
- Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations of the MSHSL
Preferred Qualities:
Previous participation and/or coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
Qualifications Required:Must meet MSHSL and Board guidelines

Rate of Pay:$1,823 to $4,725 depending on level, activity, and experience.
