Assistant Manager, Warehouse Receiving & Shipping Addison, IL full-time On-site $25/hr - $30/hrAbout the Role CPGIO is seeking an Assistant Manager, Inbound / Outbound Receiving & Transportation to support daily receiving, shipping, and transportation operations within our fulfillment center.This role is responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound workflows, supporting inventory accuracy, coordinating dock operations, and helping manage carrier and transportation activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable leading teams in a fast-paced ecommerce warehouse environment.Responsibilities May IncludeOverseeing inbound and outbound receiving activities including unloading, inspection, receiving, and put-awayCoordinating carrier appointments and dock schedulingEnsuring shipments are processed accurately and within required timelinesMonitoring dock-to-stock performance and supporting resolution of delays or bottlenecksSupervising and supporting receiving associates and warehouse staffMaintaining inventory accuracy within the WMS and assisting with discrepancy resolutionSupporting overage, shortage, and damage investigations with vendors and carriersAssisting with cycle counts, inventory audits, and warehouse organizationEnforcing safety procedures and equipment compliance in dock and receiving areasCommunicating inbound/outbound updates, delays, and inventory issues to leadershipSupporting shift handoffs with clear documentation of open work and prioritiesHelping drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracyRequirements Previous warehouse receiving, logistics, transportation, or fulfillment experience preferredSupervisory or assistant management experience in a warehouse environment strongly preferredExperience with WMS systems and inventory management tools preferredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityForklift or dock operations experience is a plusCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO) and paid holidaysCareer growth and advancement opportunities#J-18808-Ljbffr
