NAPA is looking for a passionate Assistant Store Manager.Responsibilities Provide a superior customer service experience to achieve maximum market penetration, drive store growth, and increase sales and profitability.Provide daily leadership and cultivate a culture of employee engagement.Partner with teammates to drive company-owned store initiatives.Focus on people and profitability.Grow your career through opportunities available within the team.A Day in the Life: Lead a successful team, support the store manager, and manage in a fast-paced retail store.Manage store operations to maximize sales, profits, and customer service.Build, coach, train, and engage crew to deliver superior customer care and business results.Inventory protection, asset management, and addressing operational and safety issues.Maintain overall cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room, and outside areas.Drive NAPA operational and marketing programs while pursuing continuous improvement in processes and procedures.Grow customer relationships, assist with sales/service inquiries, and ensure a positive experience in-store and on the phone.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school courses or degree preferred.Experience in the automotive aftermarket service industry or related fields, or willingness to learn about automotive.Passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex environment.Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.Ability to lift 60 lbs in some situations.Preferred: background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership environments.Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision, or fast food/restaurant/convenience store management.Customer-centric mindset (external/internal).Able to obtain ASE certifications and/or NAPA Know How.Benefits and Employment Information Outstanding health benefits and 401K.Stable company with Fortune 200 status and a family feel.Culture that works hard and takes care of employees.Opportunities for multiple career paths and ongoing development with support from leaders and your team.Not the right fit?
