The company is expanding with the goal of becoming the largest licensed brick-and-mortar sports retailer across the globe.General Position SummaryResponsibilities and expectations include achieving sales gains through customer service, meeting or exceeding company objectives, providing consistent and documented appraisal of a sales associate's performance, offering feedback, and aligning with company objectives. Maintain visual standards, proper merchandising, signage, store cleanliness, and a professional appearance per policy.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerate SalesProduce sales gains by providing customer service.Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate's sales performance; give feedback on strengths and opportunities in line with Company Objectives.Adhere to current visual guidelines, including merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Dress Code Policy.Control ExpensesProtect company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies.Assist in preparation of store schedules that provide proper store coverage and comply with wage controls.Follow policies to manage store inventory including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts.Document and record-keep per LIDS Retail policies and state/federal laws.Open and close the store as required following procedures in the Operations P&P Manual.Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines.Additional Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise AssociatesParticipate in LIDS Training Programs, adhere to goals for sales and tasks, and regular follow-up.Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.Encourage compliance with company policies, safekeeping of inventory, funds and property.Perform work of subordinates as needed.Communicate with employees at all levels of the company.Other duties as assigned.Job Required Knowledge & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience.Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.Ability to operate a computer and related software.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.Ability to work unsupervised.Preferred Job Required Knowledge & SkillsAssistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
