    The Associate Engineering Lab Analyst is an entry-level position that provides foundational technical support to senior engineering staff. This role involves assisting with basic project tasks, applying fundamental concepts, and following standardized practices and procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately follow directions while contributing to the success of engineering projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Technical Support

    o Assist senior engineering staff with basic technical tasks and analyses.

    o Conduct routine data collection, testing, and documentation under supervision.

    o Support the preparation of technical reports and presentations.

    · Project Assistance

    o Perform assigned tasks related to project planning and execution.

    o Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements.

    o Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.

    · Documentation and Reporting

    o Maintain accurate records of lab activities, test results, and project progress.

    o Ensure documentation adheres to organizational and DoD standards.

    o Provide input for project deliverables as directed by senior staff.

    · Learning and Development

    o Participate in training and development opportunities to build technical knowledge.

    o Seek guidance from supervisors and senior team members to enhance skills.

    o Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and applying new concepts.

    Manager Defined Field: **
    **

    • Provide technical input and testing support to projects in laboratory areas.

    • Under supervision, completes testing activities including by not limited to corrosion, environmental, and mechanical testing.

    • Complete laboratory operation duties assigned: inventories, monthly inspections, procedure review, data generation, peer review, etc.

    Required Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.

    · 0–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.

    · Familiarity with basic engineering concepts and practices.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    · Strong organizational and communication skills.

    · Ability to accurately follow directions and work collaboratively in a team environment.

    · Experience in a laboratory or technical support role.

    · Familiarity with DoD standards and regulations.

    · Basic knowledge of engineering software tools (e.g., MATLAB, AutoCAD).
