The Wayfair Visual Merchandising team is a multi-talented group of strategic and innovative thinkers across many disciplines, partnering closely with cross functional leaders to catapult Wayfair into the leading destination for all things home by developing engaging advertising campaigns, next-in-class consumer experiences, and scalable brand systems.

Wayfair is seeking a Visual Creative Services Associate to join our team. The Visual Creative Services Associate will assist in the production and procurement of all non-sellable collateral projects supporting Wayfair's Physical Retail operations. This role encompasses key aspects of experiential and event production, including coordinating with external fabricators, managing tight timelines, and adhering to provided budgets in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams. The Visual Creative Services Associate will work closely with our Creative, Marketing, and Physical Retail teams to ensure successful execution of these initiatives.

The Visual Creative Services Associate's focus will be on optimizing how we work: interacting with our external vendors, balancing budgets, and organizing internal documentation that spans across multiple teams. You'll assist in end-to-end project execution while contributing to long-term planning and process evolution.

The Visual Creative Services Associate will need to collaborate with all partner teams and will require flexibility and a scrappy, roll up the sleeves mentality to build out new processes from the ground up. You'll manage and deliver projects that support our existing stores' design studio and in-store events, in addition to projects that support Wayfair's scaling expansion in Physical Retail. This role will focus on Wayfair and their Standalone Brands (SAB): AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main and Perigold.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the planning and execution of non-sellable collateral projects within a retail environment, including customer giveaways, swag, seasonal props, visual supplies, restaurant collateral, uniforms, and exit packaging.
• Ensure exceptional production efforts by overseeing vendor compliance, production timelines, distribution lists and estimates, while ensuring manufactured deliverables align with Wayfair's high-quality and service standards.
• Support ongoing project management needs, ensuring that all participating cross-functional teams, including Brand Creative, Creative Operations, Marketing, Procurement and Store Operations are both informed and involved as needed and that deliverable inputs are on-time.
• Prioritize and track multiple projects on department project tracker, within competing deadlines with high level of organizational skills.
• Manage project financials: cost analysts, estimates, billing and reconciliation; escalating budget risks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Execute New Store Opening supply delivery plans (including procurement and production) for Visual Merchandising, Operations, Safety & Facilities, and other teams within Physical Retail.

Who you are:

• Proven vendor / supplier (or similar) management experience
• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Able to work efficiently and effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment that's constantly changing as Wayfair's Physical Retail organization and fleet scales
• Proficiency to prioritize and manage multiple projects or tasks, with high adaptability to change if required
• Ability to unpack and simplify complex projects in an ambiguous and changing environment
• Evidence of "scrappy startup execution" and a "get it done" attitude when time is tight and stakes are high
• Ability to problem solve and pivot to the needs of the growing business
• Exceptional written, visual and verbal cross-functional communication skills
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
