Description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $83,000 to $97,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Record financial transactions, prepare trial balances, and generate reports using accounting systems.
  • Reconcile accounts and calculate schedules such as accruals and depreciation.
  • Maintain the general ledger and oversee accounts receivable and payable processes.
  • Coordinate with tax professionals to prepare consolidation packages and support tax filings.
  • Assist in audit procedures, compliance reporting, and support both internal and external audit engagements.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in public accounting or a similar financial role.
  • Active CPA license or currently pursuing certification through the applicable state exam.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed for audit and review engagements.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, auditing standards, and PCAOB regulations.
  • Proficiency in Japanese, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking clients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
  • Experience preparing payroll, sales tax, business license, and other regulatory filings.
  • Familiarity with SOX/JSOX compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to supervise junior staff and contribute to engagement planning and scheduling.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and expenses to support billing processes.
