In this role, you'll use your product knowledge to consult on high-performance modifications, draft accurate cost estimates, and coordinate routine maintenance and necessary repairs. If you're confident you're the one we need to fill this promising position, apply now!ResponsibilitiesDraft and review service contract coverage, warranty protections, cost estimates, work orders, and other documents for necessary repairs by service techniciansFollow up after completed service appointments to ensure customers are satisfied with vehicle repairsGreet customers and assess their vehicle service needsCreate accurate work orders, including detailed descriptions of customer concerns, required repairs, and recommended upgradesUtilize various resources, including local parts stores, wholesale distributors, online retailers, OEM dealerships, and salvage yards, to locate and procure partsObtain customer authorization for repairsCommunicate effectively with technicians to ensure the timely and accurate completion of workProvide regular updates to customers on the status of their vehiclesExplain repairs and maintenance services to customers in a clear and understandable mannerPrepare and present repair estimates to customersProcess payments and deliver completed vehicles to customersMeet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction goalsQualificationsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessaryPossess a valid, state-issued driver's license and acceptable driving recordExperience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic computer programs is necessaryA high school diploma or GED is requiredWork history should include a service advisor role or other employment related to automotive technologyProven experience as an Automotive Service Writer (minimum 2 years)Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair proceduresExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyCompensation$50,000 - $90,000 per year + Commission#J-18808-Ljbffr
