Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such‑as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. You will become familiar with quality, sales, and profitability and how to be successful in a team environment. The Automotive Tire & Service Advisor is responsible for providing an outstanding service experience by making meaningful connections with new and returning guests.Responsibilities Drive sales and profitability for the store location by selling tires and recommended automotive services by communicating benefits and product features appropriatelyBuild guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction through understanding their needsCommunicate all advertising and promotion of products and servicesTake responsibility for guest interactions from the initial experience through completed service including checking in, scheduling appointment, accurately estimating time requirements, and checking outContribute to promotional merchandising and special eventsEffectively communicate all warranties, promotions, and advertisements to guestsUtilize tools provided to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelinesAssist Service Manager in communicating information about guest vehicles, as neededMaintain a clean and safe work and guest areaPerform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squattingBasic Qualifications Previous Automotive Guest Service experienceValid driver's licenseMust be at least 18 years of ageNo relocation is being offered for this positionCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the futurePreferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GEDPrevious tire sales experiencePrevious automotive service sales experiencePosition Criteria Strong work ethic; independently motivated to produce results with limited influence from othersHard worker, someone who works diligently to get tasks done and demonstrates personal characteristics, such as responsibility, dependability, conscientiousness, communication, and teamworkAbility to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisionsAbility to read, understand, and follow procedures and guidelinesDepending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidaysCommitment to following established safety policies and procedures#J-18808-Ljbffr

About Company
Looking back, the founding of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 1898 seems especially remarkable, for the beginning was anything but auspicious. The 38-year-old founder, Frank A. Seiberling, purchased the company's first plant with a $3,500 down payment -- using money he borrowed from a brother-in-law Lucius C. Miles.
