POSITION SUMMARY:
Leads efforts to receive and maintain all information pertaining to specific accounts association wide, including but not limited to the childcare billing system. Processes all new DHS childcare applications and serves as a point of contact for families from registration through DHS approval. Manages childcare billing and collections. Partners to develop and support the plans of the branch and serves as a member of the branch leadership team. Actively participates in all assigned team meetings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Leads all DHS childcare applications, from application, through approval. Ensures registration is complete and subsidy amounts are accounted for in Daxko. Schedules co-payments and establishes payment arrangements.
2. Serves as point of contact for families with inquiries about the DHS Child Care subsidy program, answering questions and sharing necessary application information. Acts as liaison for agencies including CCR&R.
3. Provides DHS renewal reminders to families up for renewal on a monthly basis.
4. Provides co-pay estimates for families as they navigate the application process through DHS. Adjust and communicates changes once approval letters received.
5. Processes returns and collections for childcare payments, notifying families, scheduling payment plans if needed, and provides monthly report on activity.
6. Leads all child care registration processes, including ensuring registration is open in Daxko, all forms are updated and accurate and double checks registration for all enrolled children. Makes outreach to families as needed to gather missing information, ensuring all registrations are accurate and complete before children begin in the program.
7. Maintains proper records/department files and provides administrative support for branch needs.
8. Utilizes language service tools to ensure clear, inclusive and accessible support for all families; effectively communicating all billing, payment and other related information.
9. Participates in staff meetings and/or related meetings, as assigned.
10. Promotes the goals and objectives of the YMCA.
11. Additional responsibilities as appropriate within the scope of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. At least 18 years of age.
2. One to two years of related experience preferred.
3. Required trainings within 30 days of hire include completion of: Child Abuse Prevention, Bloodborne Pathogens, Sexual Harassment Prevention, Slip, Trip and Fall, Lockdown Training; CPR; First Aid; AED.
4. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
