REPORTS TO: General Manager

Position Description:

• Prepare and maintain high quality baked food products based on standards
• Prepare and present food in an appetizing manner, with both taste and appearance
• Ensure adequate supply of baked goods and/or materials required in the baking area according to the fluctuations of demand with minimal waste including keeping inventories of all items used in the baking area
• Maintain a daily schedule of work to ensure all food is prepared for presentation at the specified time of demand
• Ensure completion of cleaning duties, temperature, and cleaning logs
• Ensure all opening duties are completed at the start of each shift (e.g., unlocking refrigerators and freezers upon arrival)
• Ensure all closing duties are completed at the end of each shift (e.g., turning off all ovens and hot holding units)
• Provide efficient service while maintaining excellent customer service
• Adhere to BFS and Franchise Policies and Procedures including Health and Safety
• Adhere to the BFS Employee Handbook
• Perform any other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
• Food Handlers Card is required.

• Tim Hortons experience is a strong asset
• Must be able to multi-task, work independently and as a team
• Must be reliable, dependable, and trustworthy
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Must be available for early morning starts as it may be required
• First aid certification an asset
• Food handler's certification an asset
