Banquet and Events Director Responsibilities

• Lead banquet, catering, conference, and special event operations across multiple luxury venues
• Develop and coach high-performing leaders while fostering a culture of service, accountability, and excellence
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, labor planning, and financial performance
• Partner with Sales, Conference Services, Culinary, Marketing, and key stakeholders to execute exceptional events
• Ensure consistent luxury service standards while overseeing large-scale events, VIP functions, and operational excellence
• Drive innovation, operational improvements, and revenue growth through strategic planning and programming

Banquet and Events Director Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive banquet or event operations leadership experience, including multi-venue management
• Proven success leading large teams, developing leaders, and building a high-performance culture
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor, and profitability
• Experience delivering luxury hospitality service in a Four Diamond, Four Star, or comparable environment
• Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require
