As a Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician at Strive High ABA, you will provide in-home and community-based ABA services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a vital role in helping children build essential life skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and reach meaningful goals through structured, compassionate intervention.
Key Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs
Provide direct 1:1 support to children in home and community settings
Collect accurate behavioral data and complete daily session notes
Support skill development, behavior reduction, and social engagement
Follow behavior plans, crisis protocols, and clinical guidance
Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and families
Attend all scheduled sessions and follow attendance policies
Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training
Comply with BACB ethical standards, HIPAA, and company policies
Complete all documentation, administrative, and billing tasks on time
Qualifications
Experience working with children and/or individuals with developmental or behavioral needs (preferred)
Strong communication, observational, and interpersonal skills
High level of reliability, professionalism, and accountability
Willingness to receive feedback and grow professionally
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations
Reliable mobile device for in-session data collection
Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance or reliable access to public transportation
Authorization to work in the United States
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to sit for periods of up to 2-4 hours
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, stand, and move for extended periods
Ability to adjust energy levels to meet each client's needs
