Aerospace Buyer: Everett -WA- 1901

Our client in the Everett, WA area has an opening for a Buyer. The client runs a full-service precision machine shop that specializes in complex operations and serves the Aerospace sector.

Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business for over 22 years in the US.

The successful candidate must be able to request quotations and place purchase orders to vendors for client specific aircraft modification programs involving structures, mechanical systems, electrical systems, interiors and furnishings, tooling, and hardware. This position requires that the purchasing agent to:

• Be proactive in helping grow client's approved vendors to ensure competitive pricing and schedule are maintained.
• Coordinate with client's engineering and design staff to ensure the parts being designed and specified for specific programs are obtainable.
• Coordinate with IT personnel for the purchase of new software programs, and annual license fees for existing software programs.
• Purchase miscellaneous office purchases

Key purchasing responsibilities are:

• Aircraft Structures: Build to print aircraft structural components including formed sheet metal parts, machined metallic parts, and composite parts.
• Mechanical Systems: Environmental Control Systems (ECS) including ducting, valves, controls, Hydraulic tube assemblies, etc.
• Electrical Systems: Wire Harness Assemblies loose wire kits (wires, contacts, connectors, etc.)
• Interiors and furnishings: Floor panels, Ceiling panels, Sidewall Panels, Dado panels, monuments (Galleys, Overhead stowage bins, equipment compartment enclosures, etc.
• Hardware: Fasteners including (rivets, screws, nuts, bolts, washers, etc.)
• Tooling
