    SummaryAll Native Group is looking to fill the A Cabling Foreman position. The Cable installer- Foreman will Supervise and Lead a crew performing various tasks such as pulling, terminating, and testing copper, cable and various other types of cable support hardware. Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Making sure everyone is working in accordance to OSHA regulations. Ensuring quality work and correct practices. This position requires technical or mechanical aptitude and/or experience to Lead a Crew on projects or MAC's to meet customers' expectations and schedules. Provide leadership and on-the-job instructions to less experienced installers.Essential FunctionsCabling and conduit servicesLead technicians and installers to complete their tasks and responsibilities.Upgrade and replacement of systems on a scheduled basisInstallation of new systemsFulfillment of service requests for all voice and data services "moves, adds, changes, and disconnects"Management and maintenance of all associated computer equipment rooms within the National Capital Area Region (NCR)Process configuration updates based on service changesProcess financial transactions based on service changesQuality management activities and business process re-engineeringProcurement of all equipment, materials, and supplies for operations and maintenanceSupport and the completion of all projectsResponsible for all onsite project activities including managing a crew, embracing, to meet project milestones and/or budget.Embrace safety culture by following safe work practices and policies.Ability to read and interpret drawings, floor plans, specifications and cut- sheets.Maintain security complianceExhibit a positive attitude, paying attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.Ability to listen carefully and follow instructions and make recommendations.Ability to deliver milestones and manage crew's productivityAbility to maintain good relationships with both internal and external customers and other onsite trades.Manages good housekeeping.Assists with other duties as assigned.Required Skills5 years+ experience as a Cable Forman or 3 years as a Senior InstallerForeman are responsible for the safety of the crew and the public. We expect a foreman to follow all safety practices and his team.The foreman is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of his crew and to meet production goals and customer requirements.In addition, foreman are expected to do daily reporting of time, production and as-buildsCompetenciesFamiliar with NEC,BICSI and EIA/TIA installation StandardsOrganized and detailed - orientedMust be able to work independently and in a team environment.Good oral and written communication skillsSupervisory ResponsibilityRequired for this position.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office and construction environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical DemandsThe preponderance of the work is performed in an office-type setting, with adequate lighting, heating/cooling, ventilation, and protection from the elements. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Ability to climb ladders and work in high spacesAbility to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.TravelTravel is primarily local during the business day, although about 10% out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.ExperienceMust have 5 years of experience in telecommunication infrastructure installation3-year Experience with Wiring and Cabling to include Supervising crews for project work.Education DesiredBICSI CertificationFiber CertificationAdditional Eligibility QualificationsA clean driving record is required, and candidate must provide a DMV record upon offer of employment.Security ClearanceMust be a U.S. citizen.
