Title: (CASUAL) Assistant Coach - Volleyball I
Hiring Unit: Athletics
Position: Casual Hire
Location: UH Hilo

Salary: $2,500/season
Full-time/Part-time: Part-time, no more than 19 hours a week
Temporary/Permanent: Temporary
Other Conditions: Casual Hire temporary appointment is expected to begin October 2026, or soon thereafter. Not to exceed one year.
Duties and Responsibilities
a. Developing a program that will be competitive in the Pacific West Conference.
b. Successfully recruiting and retaining academically and athletically motivated student athletes who will have a positive impact on the program and campus.
c. Planning, scheduling, and conducting team practices and workouts.
d. Organizing clinics and participating in community projects.
Responsible for ordering, keeping inventory, and maintenance of uniforms, supplies, and equipment.
Responsible for field maintenance and field improvement.
Responsible for completing and submitting all required compliance forms and timely submission of CARA and recruit logs.
Know and abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of the University of Hawaii, the Athletics Department, the Pacific West Conference, and the NCAA.
Perform other duties/functions as assigned.
