Job Description

Bilingual Production Translator - 3rd Shift
Shift: 11:15 PM - 7:15 AM
Maximum Supplier Markup: 1.35
Position Type: Non-Exempt
Work Location: On-Site
Position Summary
The Bilingual Production Translator supports effective communication across manufacturing operations by providing English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translation for employees and leadership. This role is primarily based on the production floor and is intended for someone who enjoys working directly within a manufacturing environment. The position is hands-on, highly visible, and focused on supporting day-to-day production activities.
Responsibilities
Provide real-time translation between English-speaking and Spanish-speaking employees during production activities.
Assist supervisors and team leads with communicating safety expectations, quality standards, production goals, and work instructions.
Support employee onboarding and training activities to ensure understanding of workplace requirements.
Translate operational information, safety documents, and work-related communications when necessary.
Remain actively engaged with production employees throughout the shift.
Build knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment to effectively support production operations.
Promote clear communication that contributes to a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications
Must be fluent in both English and Spanish with strong verbal communication skills.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
Ability and willingness to learn manufacturing equipment and machine operation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 7 hours per shift.
Must be available to work weekends as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
