Job SummaryCertified Zumba/Cardio Dance Instructor for the Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance department, part‑time position located in Boston, MA.ResponsibilitiesInspire, motivate, create, and deliver effective and safe group exercise classes in a professional and friendly atmosphere for participants with varying fitness levels.Teach general group exercise and fitness classes, including specialty formats such as indoor cycle, cardio dance, and strength conditioning.Participate in class planning, curriculum development, and program evaluation.QualificationsAccredited group exercise/fitness instructor certification (e.g., AFAA, ACE, ACSM, Zumba).Prior group exercise instruction experience.Ability to teach in a group setting demonstrated by passing an audition.Adult CPR & AED certification.CompensationHourly rate: $25–$30.
