As a Field Service Engineer, you are at the heart of our client's mission to provide smart machines and customized solutions to essential industries. This is a \"road-warrior\" role designed for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys traveling to diverse customer sites to install, repair, and upgrade state-of-the-art CNC equipment. responsibilities:
What You Bring to the Team

Our client is looking for candidates who possess a blend of formal engineering education and practical, \"hands-on\" experience:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience specifically within a Machine Tool Company.

  • Technical Knowledge: Proven familiarity with Fanuc Machines and CNC engines.

  • Systems Expertise: The ability to understand and interpret PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and complex technical diagrams.

  • Operational Skills: Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and the physical ability to operate a forklift and manual lifting equipment.

  • Travel Readiness: A passion for travel, with a commitment to being \"on the road\" 30%-50% of the time.
