Summary:
A Japanese food company in Kalihi area is seeking a reliable and motivated General Maintenance Technician to join the team.

You will ensure facilities and equipment run smoothly by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting problems, and making necessary repairs across various systems.

Responsibilities:

• Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal functionality
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical problems efficiently
• Coordination: Communicate with supervisors, colleagues, other departments, and external vendors to address maintenance issues and coordinate tasks effectively
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• A valid driver's license
• 1-year general maintenance or journeyman helper experience
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturday
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• A valid Forklift certification
• Conversational Japanese
