    Description

    Position: Complaints Order Management Specialist (Must ERP, SAP & Order Management)Location: San Diego, CADuration: 6‑month contract (Full‑time, 40 hours per week)Employment Type: Contract on W2 (US Citizens or Green Card holders only)ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for interacting directly with our customers and various internal functional groups in creating quotes and sales orders.Support the instrument program as the liaison between the customer and the business, focusing on product quoting, order placement, and overall account management.Gather customer requirements and specifications for capital equipment, instruments, and custom product configurations and pricing to create quotes and sales orders.Act as the liaison between the customer and program/technical experts as needed.Maintain technical accuracy and completeness of quote and order management processes using various software applications and business tools.Provide direct customer contact via telephone and e‑mail; ensure order accuracy, compliance with standards, and excellent time management.Work independently with minimal supervision, suggesting process improvements to enhance internal efficiencies and maintain high customer satisfaction.Perform other related duties and assignments as required.Coordinate daily customer‑facing activities related to quotes and order management, following up and resolving issues, and maintaining detailed records of communications and transactions.Communicate with external customers via phone, fax, and email.Interact with Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing, Technical Application/Product Support, Planning, and other functional groups to drive the process from quote to order fulfillment.Provide accurate pricing, availability, terms and conditions, and other product and order‑related information in response to customer and internal inquiries.Review instrument quote requests and prepare quotations, ensuring accuracy and configuration compatibility for successful sales order creation.Ensure customer and material master data are accurate and complete, and that appropriate discounts are applied.Verify that approvals and documentation are present before completing transactions.Document, manage, and track customer interactions using SAP and Salesforce.Communicate maintenance service terms and conditions to the service contract coordinator to enable timely creation of maintenance service agreements.Support the Credit/Collections group in resolving billing disputes, credit holds, and credit card authorizations.QualificationsCollege degree.3‑5 years of customer service experience (biotechnology or manufacturing environment preferred).High attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience in a similar industry with order management, ERP systems such as SAP.Positive attitude and team‑player mindset.Proactive self‑starter capable of driving results and working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.Knowledge of capital equipment order management process.Ability to troubleshoot problems and resolve customer complaints.Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and email systems.Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system (preferred).#J-18808-Ljbffr
