    Description

    Concessions Attendant

    The Concessions Attendant is responsible for stocking supplies, preparing and serving products to customers, prepping food, and keeping concession stands clean, while offering exceptional customer service. This position may be based at various locations throughout the park, including Parker's Pizza, Parker's Café, the Quadraplex, Tad Gormley Stadium, and/or PanAm. This position could also potentially work during Special Events within the Park.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Operate POS systems with accuracy and speed while checking out guests, processing orders, and issuing receipts.
    • Demonstrate excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and resolving issues efficiently and courteously.
    • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor under pressure in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all concession areas, including countertops, equipment, floors, and guest service zones.
    • Ensure all items are fully stocked, including food, beverage, utensils, condiments, and supplies, to meet ongoing operational needs.
    • Provide clear, respectful communication and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
    • Follow detailed instructions from management and ensure policies and food safety guidelines are upheld at all times.
    • Follow all objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
    • Ensure quality food and beverage service and presentation.
    • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy concession locations and proper sanitation standards as set forth by Louisiana health codes.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Food and beverage experience preferred.
    • Must have excellent customer service skills.
    • Works well in a team setting.
    • Experience with computerized POS required.
    • Previous experience in restaurant and/or hospitality industries.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to follow instructions.

    Work Environment:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to wet, humid, moving particles, high, precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold and heat, risk of electric shock, explosives and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

    Seasonal Part-Time position. Must be flexible to work weekdays and/or weekends. Shift times may vary depending on scheduled events. Wednesday, 5 - 10 pm, Thursday & Friday, 2 - 10 pm, Saturday & Sunday - both day and evening hours may be available. Up to 29.5 hours per week, as needed.
