We're looking for a driven Construction Estimator to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality commercial interior projects. You'll focus on drywall, framing, acoustical systems, and interior finishes, working on impactful projects across the Boston area.
What You'll Do
Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates for commercial interior projects
Review drawings, specs, and project documents to develop competitive, winning bids
Partner with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the bid process
Gather and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure best value
Support bid reviews, scope alignment, and project handoff to operations
Assist with change orders, project documentation, and cost tracking
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Stay ahead of market trends, pricing shifts, and project risks
What We're Looking For
2+ years of construction estimating experience (interiors preferred)
Experience with drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings, or interior finishes
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency with estimating tools (On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, PlanSwift, or similar)
Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills
Bonus Points If You Have
Degree in Construction Management or related field
Commercial interior project experience
OSHA certification
Experience working in union environments
