Description
Corporate Recruiter
As part of the global Human Resources team, and reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Corporate Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates for openpositions. This role partners with hiring managers and clients to understand hiring needs, develop recruiting strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience while meeting hiring goals.
Talent Acquisition
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from requisition intake to candidate placement.
Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
Screen resumes and conducts phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
Evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate interview processes.
Conduct reference checks and facilitate offer negotiations.
Candidate Management
Build and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates.
Develop strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates.
Maintain candidate records and activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Hiring Manager & Client Partnership
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
Develop and post job descriptions and advertisements.
Provide market insights regarding talent availability, salary trends, and hiring strategies.
Ensure hiring managers receive qualified candidates in a timely manner.
Recruiting Operations
Maintain accurate recruiting metrics and reports.
Track progress against hiring goals and performance indicators.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and hiring procedures.
Participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications & Competencies:
Certificate, diploma or degree accreditation in Human Resources or related field is preferred or working towards a designation is an asset
5+ years of recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or human resources experience preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Experience using ATS, recruiting platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Able to exercise sound judgment, is self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize key requirements in a fast-paced environment is a must
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or workstation
Repetitive hand and arm movements
Occasional lifting up to 20lbs may be required
Frequent reaching, grasping, pushing or pulling, bending or twisting motions
Walking short distances and standing for meetings or other office activities
Required to wear and properly use personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and lab coats as required by safety protocols
