Pay Rate: $30/hr on W2
Contract role with potential for full-time conversion
We are seeking a hands-on Sr. Tech Specialist to support R&D crash testing in a fast-paced labenvironment. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working with tools, equipment maintenance, and test lab operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform crash testing using dynamic crash simulators
• Maintain and repair laboratory equipment and test devices
• Lead and support a team of technicians
• Prepare, document, and archive test results
• Improve lab equipment and testing processes
• Handle test sample preparation and disposal
• Support additional physical and mechanical testing as needed
• Maintain daily test schedules and priorities
Requirements:
• Associate degree in Technology, Mechanical field, or Automotive-related field preferred
• 2-4 years of related hands-on experience
• Strong mechanical skills (tools, soldering, machining, welding)
• Microsoft Office and computer proficiency
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
