Come join our team at Jimmy John's at Workman's Travel Center in Lowell, Arkansas! We are looking for 1st and 2nd shift crew members! A Jimmy John's crew member is responsible for customer service, food preparation, and maintaining store cleanliness. Key duties include greeting customers, taking orders, making sandwiches accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions, and keeping the workspace and dining area clean. They must also adhere to food safety guidelines and be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Customer service: Greet customers, take orders in-person or over the phone, and provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Sandwich preparation: Make sandwiches quickly and accurately, following all recipes, portion sizes, and brand standards.
• Store maintenance: Keep the restaurant and all work areas clean and sanitary, including tables, floors, windows, and restrooms.

Cash handling: Operate the cash register, process payments accurately, and handle cash according to company policies. Teamwork: Foster a positive and collaborative environment by working together with other team members. Food safety: Adhere to all food, safety, and security guidelines. Product preparation: Assist with prepping ingredients, such as slicing vegetables and meats.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30-40 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Basic math skills are needed for handling cash.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be mobile in walk-in refrigerator
