Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a (CSSNA) Warehouse Operator with our power technology client in Sioux Falls, SD. This is a 6-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay:$20.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Description:
  • Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.
  • Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
  • Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.

  • Performs quality checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. Identifies and controls non-conforming material.
  • DeliveryReceive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
  • Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations.
  • Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
  • Teamwork
  • Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
  • Completes training in line with business requirements.
  • Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
  • Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
  • Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.
  • Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.


Additonal Notes:
  • This is a fully onsite role.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving and checking in inventory, stocking and organizing materials, loading and unloading trucks, inventory management, order picking, and preparing shipments.
  • Candidates should possess basic warehouse experience and a solid understanding of warehouse processes and procedures.
  • This assignment is expected to last for six months, with the potential for extension based on business needs. 
  • Once the hiring manager is ready to move forward, qualified candidates will be invited to participate in a 30-minute in-person interview.
