Position: Warehouse Operator

JOB TYPE: W2, Onsite, Full-time contract (6 months), Potential for Extension

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00pm

Compensation: $18-20/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a hands-on role involving receiving inventory, stocking materials, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments while following established processes and safety standards.

You’ll work in a structured, team-based environment and be responsible for maintaining accuracy, organization, and efficiency throughout daily operations. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical, process-driven work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive incoming goods and verify for damage or discrepancies against invoices
• Sort, label, and store materials to optimize warehouse space
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments based on order requests
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Perform inventory tracking and basic system transactions
• Conduct quality checks and identify non-conforming materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and HSE standards
• Support general warehouse operations and team workflow as needed

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced environment
• Basic communication and math skills
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shift

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with inventory systems or RF scanners (nice to have)
• Experience in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing warehouse environments
• Familiarity with picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes
• Strong attendance and ability to meet productivity expectations
