This position plays a key role in advancing a comprehensive curricular redesign effort at the UNO School of Medicine & Health Sciences, including initiatives focused on longitudinal and vertical integration, workforce readiness, the Primary Care Accelerated Track (PCAT), and the transition from undergraduate medical education (UME) to graduate medical education (GME).This position will work closely with the Office of the Dean, faculty, staff, students, and advisory task force members to ensure effective coordination, communication, documentation, and progress toward curricular goals. The position supports the implementation of initiatives but does not serve as a decision-making authority for curricular content.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProject Management and Task Force CoordinationProvide day-to-day coordination and project management for the Curriculum Transformation Advisory Task Force and related working groupsSupport planning and facilitation of meetings, retreats, and engagement sessions (virtual and in-person)Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic goalsDevelop agendas, prepare meeting materials, and document decisions, outcomes, and next stepsMaintain organized documentation of project activities, decisions, and outcomesCoordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and learners across all campusesCommunication and Stakeholder EngagementServe as a central point of contact for task force members and working groupsManage routine communications, including updates, summaries, and informational materialsCoordinate stakeholder feedback processes such as surveys, data collection, and synthesis of resultsSupport dissemination of updates to foster transparency and alignment across groupsEvaluation, Reporting, and Documentation ActivitiesTrack progress and outcomes of curriculum transformation initiativesCompile data and feedback from stakeholders to support continuous improvementPrepare reports, briefing materials, and summaries for leadership reviewSupport documentation required for accreditation and institutional reporting (e.g. LCME-related materials)Administrative and Operational SupportManage scheduling, calendars, and logistics for project-related activitiesSupport budget tracking and expense coordination for meetings, travel, and eventsAssist with coordination of retreats and large-scale planning eventsSupport additional projects and initiatives as assigned by the Office of the DeanRequired CompetenciesStrong organizational and project coordination with high attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a complex environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholdersAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving prioritiesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting platformsAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalismPrefer familiarity with accreditation processes (e.g., LCME)Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in education, healthcare administration, business, or related fieldTwo (2) years of experience in project coordination, program support, or administrative rolesExperience coordinating meetings, events, or projects with multiple stakeholdersSuccessful completion of a Criminal History Background CheckIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
