Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner at the counter and throughout the store
Answer customer questions about products, cuts of meat, preparation tips, and pricing
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including in-store and phone orders
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-house and display cases
Handle cash register transactions, including cash, card, and change handling
Collaborate with butchers and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Resolve customer concerns or complaints with a positive, solution-focused attitude
Requirements:
Previous customer service, retail, or food service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays
Basic math skills and experience handling cash transactions
Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Food handling knowledge or willingness to learn meat products and cuts
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
