Customer Service Representative
Nesco Resource is hiring an experienced Customer Service Representative for a local client of ours in Conover, NC. Hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 based upon experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and verify customer orders in the Synergy ERP system, minimizing errors.
- After orders are shipped, accurately invoice customer orders in the Synergy ERP system, minimizing errors.
- Respond to any inquiries regarding product availability, specifications, and order status within 24 hours.
- Act as the primary liaison between Sales Representatives and Customers to resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with Purchasing to anticipate inventory needs, report discrepancies, and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Select appropriate freight carriers for cost-effectiveness and timely deliveries, ensuring accurate carrier assignments for both outbound and inbound freight.
- Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions and order resolutions to support continuous improvement.
- Identify and escalate recurring customer issues to management to drive process improvements.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of and records for all customer specific freight policies that are under your responsibility.
- Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless order fulfillment process.
- Learn and become fluent in Synergy ERP, Cubix, EDI software, and other Microsoft tools (such as TEAMS).
Key Success Metrics
- Order Accuracy: Maintain a 99%+ accuracy rate in ERP order entry, minimizing order processing mistakes.
- Response Time: Respond to any inquiries within 24 hours to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain an average customer feedback score of 90%+ based on surveys or feedback responses.
- Team Collaboration: Effectively coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to support business needs, ensuring smooth workflows and issue resolution
