Customer Service Representative

Majors Plastics Inc, a 100% employee-owned plastics molding company is looking for a Customer Service Representative. Our Customer Service Representative will serve as a primary contact and resource person for customer placement of purchase orders, delivery status inquiries, quality issues, pricing information, and any other customer-related issues.

Position Responsibilities

• Receive input on order requirements via phone, fax, or mail.
• Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and delivery requirements.
• Generate initial purchased goods sales order.
• Submit sales order to scheduling.
• Coordinate JIT activities with specific customers.
• Establish economic run quantities on JIT and blanket order items with scheduling, manufacturing, and material services personnel.
• Maintain customer correspondence (files).
• Coordinate communication between customers and appropriate Majors personnel.
• Advise customers of pricing changes via fax, phone, or written notifications.
• Distribute customer-generated documentation to appropriate Majors personnel.
• Maintain appropriate aged inventory levels of finished goods as well as their inventory turnover rates.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
