This is a contract role expected to last for 1 year
n
NOTE: Hybrid - 2 days in San Rafael office, 3 days WFH *
n
Interested in candidate with experience working in large well-established organizations that have large monthly invoicing volume (5,000+ invoices per month)
n
Key Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
n
xe2x80xa2 Manage account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across AP and related accounts.
xe2x80xa2 Review and process complex AP transactions while ensuring adherence to company policies.
xe2x80xa2 Determine root cause for invoice/supplier issues. Submit and track IT tickets, initiate meetings and work with internal support staff to resolve invoicing/supplier issues.
xe2x80xa2 Backup to AP Mailbox Coordinator when they are out of the office.
xe2x80xa2 Assist with month-end close activities, including clearing account discrepancies and variance analysis
xe2x80xa2 Investigate AP exceptions, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
xe2x80xa2 Support the AP Manager in refining processes and improving accuracy in reporting.
xe2x80xa2 Develop and document best practices for reconciliation and AP workflows.
xe2x80xa2 Any special projects/tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications
n
xe2x80xa2 Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
xe2x80xa2 1-2 years Accounts Payable Experience
xe2x80xa2 Strong knowledge of core accounting concepts
xe2x80xa2 Knowledge of control concepts (segregation of duties, verification, security, etc.)
xe2x80xa2 Ability to exercise good judgement and effective written and verbal communication skills
xe2x80xa2 Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving issues, and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
xe2x80xa2 Experience in Oracle and/or SAP a plus
xe2x80xa2 Competent in Microsoft Office, including Excel
