A Deli Clerk / Cake Decorator at Carlie C's IGA realizes that providing prompt and friendly customer service is priority #1. Being courteous and cooperative with both the customer and coworker is a critical aspect of maximizing sales and building business for years to come. It is a great challenge to know that all of our cakes which we sell every day, will be made by you. Therefore, we're looking for someone who possesses a positive attitude and who is committed to creating cakes that are both appealing to the eye and to the taste buds.

Duties

• Bake and Decorate Cakes
• Use scales and printer, understand tare weight.
• Use and sharpen meat/cheese slicer.
• Use chicken fryer, monitor grease.
• Make meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
• Understand portion control
• Monitor food temperature requirements.
• Operate oven, proof box.
• Keep sales area full, and rotated.
• Clean and sanitized area
• Maintain Carlie C's Uniform Standards
• Any and all other daily operational duties as directed by Deli/Bakery Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age, friendly and outgoing. *Neat and clean in appearance.
• Must enjoy working with the public.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Experience a plus
