Dental Hygienist Assistant – Baltimore, MD.

Local Pay: $30.00/hour

Shift Details:

  • TBD during the  interview

Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization. 

  • Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress. 

  • Update patient health history and chart treatment progress. 

  • Expose and develop radiographs (if certified). 

  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care. 

  • Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments. 

  • Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems. 

  • Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted MD license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Certified Dental Assistant.

  • High school diploma or GED is required

  • Associate’s degree or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required).

  • Must have minimum one (1) year  Dental Assisting experience to be considered.

  • X-ray training or certification & BLS certification

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.
