This is your opportunity to be part of the most innovative and passionate hotel teams in one of the fastest growing markets in the United States.Job DescriptionAssists with preparing the Annual Sales Plan and BudgetsDevelops, implements, maximizes, monitors and evaluates objectives, business strategies and activities of the Sales Department to exceed forecasted revenue figures in all hotel-related revenue streamsManages Sales Division expenses in line with the annual budgetParticipates in trade shows and promotional events to develop new markets, by identifying prospective customersResponsible to control all key account annual contract processing, based on rate negotiation (to support the annual rate growth) - negotiates with decision makers/confirm with General Manager and/or Director, Sales & Marketing - based on volume (hotel's top productive accounts)Monitors daily reservations pick-up patterns to maximize occupancy and revenue increase yieldsReviews and monitors company accounts room nightly production reports, to ensure that all sales objectives related to monthly revenue budgets, are achievedConducts Sales meetings with the team, as well as lead the monthly Strategy meeting, including forecast managementAdheres to the brand's overall vision and hotel policies and proceduresDevelops an organized, motivated and cohesive Sales team through strong leadershipDrives the Sales effectiveness of the hotel and Sales TeamMonitors weekly sales activities to ensure individual sales calls objectives are achievedProvides ongoing direction and implements training programs for the teamWork in harmony and synergy with all Senior Executives in the hotel and Corporate Headquarter teamQualificationsExpert understanding of and well-developed skills in sales, partnerships, and business development, including identifying leads, building relationships, storytelling, negotiating, closing, and account managementProven track record of building new business relationships and signing significant dealsComfortable and capable with both developing and executing strategy with the teamCreative, flexible and solution-orientedResults-driven, with an ability to execute independentlyNatural leader who inspires and motivates the entire teamComfortable presenting to Senior Leadership with interpersonal communication skillsExperience with luxury or global brand is an advantageAnalytical, proactive and innovative mindDetail-oriented and highly reliable in thorough execution and follow-throughHigh integrity and ability to keep confidentialityPrevious Sales leadership experience requiredMust have experience working for luxury hotel brandsStrong experience or adaptable training in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) software and other automated systems, and PCsAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
