    Director of Sales – PreconstructionIn One SentenceThis role is essentially a senior sales, business development, and preconstruction executive responsible for growing precast concrete business by developing client relationships, leading project pursuits, and aligning opportunities with the company's engineering and manufacturing capabilities.If you are Committed and maintain integrity, we want you to lead our sales team.Executive SummaryThe Director of Sales & Preconstruction is a senior leadership role responsible for driving business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing strategic precast concrete projects. The position serves as the bridge between business development and project execution, working with owners, developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to position precast concrete as the preferred solution for complex construction projects.The role combines sales leadership, client relationship management, preconstruction strategy, market development, and operational coordination . Success depends on building strong industry relationships, developing project pursuit strategies, aligning opportunities with manufacturing capabilities, and ensuring projects move efficiently from concept through contract award. The Director also provides leadership to business development activities, market research efforts, and industry engagement initiatives.A successful candidate would:Consistently generate and win profitable project opportunities.Build strong relationships with key construction-industry decision makers.Increase presence in target markets.Balance customer needs with manufacturing capacity and profitability goals.Improve project pipeline visibility and strategic forecasting.Help drive long-term revenue growth while maintaining a reputation for technical excellence and customer service.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.High School Diploma/GED required.ExperienceMinimum 7 years of PCI precast industry experience.Experience in one or more of:Business DevelopmentEstimatingEngineeringProject ManagementConstruction industry experience required.Local market experience preferred.Preferred SkillsStrong relationship-building and networking abilities.Knowledge of precast/prestressed concrete systems.Experience with Design-Build and collaborative project delivery methods.Strategic planning and leadership experience.HubSpot CRM experience is a plus.Job Number: 5007#J-18808-Ljbffr
