Description
What to Expect We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in a variety of settings, including clean room environments, production spaces, and greenfield projects. The Electrical Journeyman will ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations and is completed efficiently and safely. What You'll Do
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, following blueprints and technical diagrams
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to plan layout and installation of electrical systems
Install and connect electrical panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and other electrical components
Ensure adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes
Test electrical systems using tools like multimeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to ensure safe operation
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time
Troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety, identifying issues and performing necessary repairs
What You'll Bring
4+ years of experience as a journeyman electrician
Valid Electrical Journeyman license or certification as required by state or local regulations
Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety
Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and adverse weather conditions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multiple projects at once
