Overview Our client, a nationwide provider of high-quality food products, has an immediate opening for an experienced Electro-Maintenance Mechanic , to join their winning team in Collingswood.Our candidate of choice will bring a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.Key Responsibilities Locate breakdowns and carry out the necessary repairsPerform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic checks on equipmentInstall, align, dismantle, and move fixed industrial machinery or mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, etc.)Participate in the development of a preventive maintenance program for equipmentRead plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the method of proceedingAdhere to the health and safety policies and procedures, good manufacturing practices, and HACCP/SQF programsMaintains OSHA/corporate set guidelines to ensure a safe working environmentMust be knowledgeable in equipment Lock-Out/Tag-Out requirementsPerform other duties as assignedKey Qualifications Experience in the food manufacturing sectorExperience in electromechanics, mechanical manufacturing, or other relevant trainingStrong attention to detail and ability to intervene safely, quickly, and effectivelyStrong decision making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills in all typesMust read and write EnglishAble to work flexible hours and overtime as business needsAbility to work in a fast paced, refrigerated environmentAble to function in a team environment through communication and cooperation#J-18808-Ljbffr
