    Electrical Wire Harness Design Engineer - May 2024-1909, CA

    We have an immediate opening for an Aircraft Electrical Design Engineer with our client in Los Angeles area in CA who is working on an A320-200 P2F conversion project.

    SUMMARY

    • Have current experience developing wiring diagrams.
    • Have current experience and knowledge of industry standard parts (wire types, connectors, etc..).
    • Have current experience selecting EWIS components.
    • Have current experience and familiar with aircraft manuals. Able to research aircraft data in support of specific projects using Illustrated Parts Catalogues, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Wiring Diagram Manual Supplements, etc.
    • Experience with drafting EOs (Engineering Orders) / DCRs (Design Change Requests) for design change requests utilizing appropriate formats as per company's engineering handbook.
    • Interface with internal teams, organizations, customers, airframe manufacturers and/or government agencies to develop multiple program resource requirements, timeline schedules and specification in support of customer.
    • Possess the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary development team environment with designers, Configuration Management and external vendors.
    • Work with Certification Configuration Manager to ensure compliance of all aircraft seating and system installations in support of STC applications, FAA regulations, OEM guidelines and customer specifications.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for reviewing and modifying the baseline aircraft schematics.
    • Responsible for reviewing and modifying the baseline aircraft wiring diagrams.
    • Responsible for creating new wiring diagrams.
    • Responsible for creating new schematics.
    • Responsible writing test plans and procedures
    • Responsible supporting DERs with review of PSCP and CCL

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 10 Plus years aerospace experience (Senior) - (3-5 years Junior)
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Preferred)
    • Experience with Airbus is extremely desirable.
    • Experience in FAA Part 25 is extremely desirable.
    • Familiar with AS50881, AC4313.1B
    • Familiar with FAA Part 25.1701-1 (EWIS)

    TOOLS EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Teamcenter (PLM)
    • ZWCAD/ WCS (AutoCAD)
    • CATIA V5 (Desired)
