    At Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM), our facilities power a large-scale retail, warehouse, distribution, and operations environment. We're looking for a licensed Electrician who brings strong troubleshooting skills, supports facility reliability, and helps keep our business running safely, efficiently, and with confidence every day.

    Job Duties: A Day in the Life

    • Oversee: Take ownership of troubleshooting electrical systems, including power distribution, panels, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, motor controls, lighting controls, building automation, and HVAC electrical controls
    • Restore: Repair and maintain facility electrical systems that support safe, reliable, and efficient daily operations
    • Connect: Install conduit, wiring, controls, equipment, and system upgrades that align with NEC requirements and company standards
    • Manage: Partner with contractors, Facilities leadership, and maintenance team members to support projects and resolve complex issues
    • Check: Inspect completed work, identify reliability risks, and recommend long-term corrective actions that strengthen performance
    • Lead: Mentor maintenance team members through coaching, training, and hands-on technical support

    Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Master Electrician License or Electrical Contractor License required
    • 7+ years of commercial, industrial, facility, manufacturing, distribution, or large-scale retail electrical experience required
    • Advanced knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical safe work practices required
    • Experience troubleshooting complex electrical and electronic control systems required
    • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings required
    • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
    • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
