    Job Description

    Electro-Mechanical Technician

    Position Summary Seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to increase reliability of electric motors, gearboxes, air compressors, mills, and other equipment. This role requires strong electrical skills, mechanicalaptitude, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Work closely with engineers and managers to build high-quality equipment.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Build and wire electrical control panels per schematics
    • Field Bearing Changes
    • Inspection of electro-mechanical systems for evidence of mechanical degradation
    • Mount enclosures, punch, drill, and tap holes, and install conduits
    • Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and start-up
    • Maintain organization, safety standards, and documentation
    • Adapt to production demands and support other shop areas
    Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 3+ years in control panel building and equipment wiring
    • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits and three-phase motor control
    • Experience with hand tools, fabrication machinery, and multi-meters
    • Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and blueprints
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
    • Basic hand tools required
    Preferred
    • Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology
    • Conveyor industry experience
    • Basic computer skills
