Electromechanical Technician

Location: Oxnard, CA
Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Some flexibility available)
Position Type: Temporary or Temp-to-Hire

Our client, an innovative automation equipment manufacturer in Camarillo, is seeking a motivated Electromechanical Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, and is eager to learn new skills in a collaborative environment. There is strong potential for long-term employment for the right candidate.
What You'll Do

• Assemble custom automation equipment using mechanical components.
• Perform basic wiring and electrical assembly.
• Organize materials, tools, and workstations to support efficient production.
• Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with a strong willingness to learn.
• Experience using hand and power tools such as drills, band saws, chop saws, grinders, or similar equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits is highly preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a growth mindset.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to producing quality work.
