The Electroplater performs metallic plating to enhance corrosion resistance and abrasion protection, following specifications and blueprints.
- Plans and sequences plating processes, interprets blueprints, and sets equipment parameters.
- Prepares parts by cleaning in acid tanks, plates parts, and inspects for quality and uniformity.
- Racks parts before and after plating, logs data, and adheres to safety standards.
- Requires ability to read English, interpret technical drawings, operate measurement tools, and use computer data entry.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR regulations.
Physical demands include standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, and exposure to heat, noise, and fumes. The schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. All qualified applicants will be considered regardless of protected characteristics.
