Job Description:

• Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects ranging from $500K to $40M
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and pricing utilizing industry software and subcontractor/vendor input
• Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand project needs and develop relationships
• Visit project sites throughout Maine to evaluate opportunities and gather project information
• Collaborate with ownership, operations teams, and field personnel during the preconstruction process
• Develop proposals, budgets, and presentations for clients and stakeholders
• Assist with business development efforts and help identify new project opportunities
• Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the sales and estimating process

The Successful Applicant

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
• Experience estimating a variety of commercial project types
• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build long-term relationships
• Comfortable balancing estimating responsibilities with sales and business development activities
• Knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, and pricing
• Experience with Procore, Sage, and On-Screen Takeoff (OST) preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work from or commute to the Fairfield, Maine area
• Stable work history with strong professional references
