Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine material and labor requirements.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to assess project needs.

Source and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.

Monitor project costs and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.

Maintain an organized database of cost estimates and project documentation.

Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management.

Proficiency in estimating software and tools.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost assessments.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

A degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
