Job Opportunity for Agronomists

Great opportunity for agronomists in horticulture, irrigation, or parasitology interested in working in the U.S. on a TN Visa. Residential and commercial landscaping company is offering TN Visa sponsorship to qualified candidates from Canada and Mexico. Only citizens of Canada and Mexico are eligible for the TN Visa program.

The company provides expert local lawn care services in Central Texas to Austin and Greater Austin areas. They are looking for an estimator with sales capabilities to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The estimator will follow up on customer leads, price projects, and sell potential customers when presenting their estimates. They are looking for an organized individual with the ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment and work with clients as well as the operations manager and landscape designer to create accurate estimates. Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating customer needs and building productive long-lasting relationships.
• Meet personal and team sales targets.
• Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
• Meeting with potential and existing customers to present sales proposals, inform them of service benefits and features.
• Recording clear instructions for estimates.

Duties include:

• Lead with actions, manage clients, hold self/others accountable
• Maintain updated pricing
• Estimate
• Documentation
• Communication
• All other duties as assigned

Must possess the ability to:

• Communicate clearly and articulately verbally and in writing in English
• Have a Bachelor's Degree and cedula professional
• Be on time every day for work and client appointments
• Understand the needs of our clients and provide the appropriate response to any issues that may arise with exceptional customer service
• Show initiative by going above and beyond for clients, helping coworkers, and improving the company culture
• Know or can learn estimating software
• Know or can learn Excel to calculate accurate quantities of materials
• Understand basic hardscape and softscape materials and processes to install items
• Must have/maintain a clean driving record and valid driver's license
